Martha Griffin is a science content specialist in Pasadena ISD, working at South Houston High School to ensure student success in science. She has experience consulting in K-12 schools in Houston, El Paso and Brownsville, specializing in improving TAKS scores in high poverty, high English Language Learner student populations. A former vice president of Education at The Health Museum (Houston) and an education program manager at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, she has expertise in non-profit leadership and with non-profit boards. Griffin is a former vice president of the Science Teachers Association of Texas, as well as a former high school Biology teacher in Aldine ISD and middle school Earth Science science teacher in Pleasant Grove ISD.
